The Origin Story
WorkReady was born out of frustration. In 2023, as agency owners, we interviewed 50+ fresh graduates. They Basic HTML/CSS/PHP/MySQL, React/Node theory, but 1% could deploy a WordPress site to a live server.
We realized the gap wasn't talent—it was training. The education system teaches syntax; Other classes and coaching teach code; but agencies need solutions. We built WorkReady to be the bridge we wished existed when we started.
We bridge this gap by flipping the traditional learning model. Instead of starting with theory and syntax, we begin with real-world problems and solutions. You learn how to deploy a site, fix a broken plugin, or optimize performance—then we dive into the theory and code behind it. This approach mirrors how agencies actually work: you're given a problem, you find the solution, and you understand the code as you build it. By learning solutions first, you develop the problem-solving mindset that agencies value most.
